After watching "Neighbours" I feel like stop-motion animation, and pixilation is a good approach to this subject matter because it brings emphasis to every action that is being delivered and acted out allowing us to really experience what is going on within the environment and within the people in it. With this it also gives me or any other viewer viewing this a sense of cartoon/gaming vibes allowing us to really relate to what exactly is going on within the animation. What this technique allows for this animation film is what feels like an infinite number of possibilities that can be achieved with any type of motion or action. This gives the film in my opinion a lot of different ways it can play out or even be perceived by the people watching it. What this technique doesn't allow is a sense of explanation which can however be good and bad depending on the type of animation film that is being produced. Overall, I think this was a very neat film to experience and watch it brought back a lot of childhood memories with the game sounds and actions and I thought it was funny how two grown adults were so attached to a flower to the point where they were almost arguing over it and fighting for sides. It gives me the feeling that; that flower had some type of power attached to it. Great film!
