  1. Identify at least two important "reveals" in the film, where we learn key information about Pickle. The first important reveal in this film where we learn information about pickle is towards the beginning where he spots this girl out in the grass. From my point of view and understanding it looks like he might have anxiety and is either socially shy or just nervous about the girl in general because he may like the girl. This can also be shown when he is always looking out the window of his house at the exact time when the girl arrives. The second important reveal in this film where we learn information about pickle is when he discovered a bird that was outside in a makeshift grave. As he investigated this bird, he brought it back to his room where he then transforms his entire bed into a type of work bench or operating table. From my point of view, it looks like he is some type of inventor. He also looks like he gets a rush from doing these types of things as his smile grew big when he found a solution to the deceased bird. One last important reveal in this film where we learn information about pickle is when he fixed the bird. This was very feint to notice but as he finished repairing the bird, he lastly placed a wind-up tool in the back of the bird. This is the same tool that is on his family members! To me this indicates that He may have done the same thing to his family member as well!

  2. Who is Stanley Pickle - what does he want, and how does he change over the course of the film? How do you know? Stanley Pickle is a single guy who lives by himself but has the company of his mother and father that he essentially created and revied into repeating toys. What he wants is simple, he wants the satisfaction of this girl and or his family by reviving and improving her deceased pet/bird. Over the course of the film, he changed drastically during the beginning of the film he was extremely closed off and self-centered to himself and would not associate himself with the outside world. As the film progressed though he seemed like he came out of his shell after a dream he had. He became more involved and more active with not only his inner self but with the outside world. I know this because at the start of the film he would only look outside his window when needed and was extremely nervous about even going outside. He looked way too innocent to do or hide anything. Fast forward to the end of the film and he is more confident almost overconfident to step outside and now instead of his innocence he changed to essentially a scientist and an operator pulling and transforming things I thought he was nowhere near capable of doing back then.
